Welcome to all Mothers ; Let me introduce you to Thai post-natal care. Since we do not hear much about it in Hong Kong. Thai post-natal care is based on an ancient Thai medical theory that is practised from generation to generation. The treatment consists of:
1.Traditional Thai massage and hot compress.It is exotic, unique and ultimate subliminal body workout.It is a blend of deep tissue massage using pressure points focuses on the tummy, back and leg areas.
The herbal compress is heated in a steamer and the warm bundle is applied directly on the body.
2. Herbal steam bath. It is a must have for Thai tradition confinement therapy .It help to promote blood circulation, soothe and restore swollen tissues and removes toxins through the skin.
3. Herbal Thai Turmeric body scrub. This treatment is done after the steam bath and it cleanse and lighten the skin especially at the folded areas.
4. Hot pot massage.The heated pot contains sea salts and is used to massage over the tummy area to reduce fats.
5. Thermal tummy wrap.The last of treatments where it is wrap around the tummy and helps to clean out any residual blood in the womb and at the same time firm the muscles and shrink the tummy back to shape.
